UPDATE – 3/13/2013
There has been a lot press about beach erosion on Plum Island. This is occurring at the southern end of the island, not at the northern end where our home is located. The picture below was taken on March 12, 2013 at the 5 PM High Tide. The beach is waiting for summer!
This dog friendly 4 bedroom cottage is excellent for young families, or even multiple families. There are 3 bedrooms in the main house, plus a bunk house that sleeps 4. The property can sleep up 10 people- with 2 queen beds and 6 twins total.
The main house has kitchen with all you will need for your trip- you simply need food, sunscreen and beach towels.
The kitchen opens up to a dining area. The living room has new furniture (2007) and flat screen TV with DVD. The house was updated in 2005 with fresh paint, new cabinets, new floors, and new bath and a new hot water heater. There is full bath in the main house and also a private outdoor shower with both hot and cold water.
We have included air conditioning, cable tv, and wireless Internet access. The main house has a large deck that includes patio furniture and outdoor dining furniture. There is also a gas BBQ grill and chiminea for a relaxing fire or roasting marshmallows.
The kottage is currently being renovated with new paint and new furnishings. We’ll have updated pictures on the site when the work is complete.
